Corina Clicks - Our House

12.04.2011
Tonight I thought I would show you some pictures of our house.  It's nothing fabulous but I like it and it is home.  There are lots of things I would change if I could, however decorating isn't my top priority right now and also it isn't very high on our budget, so for now and being one of our first places I think it's great.

This is technically our 2nd place.  When we were first married we lived in a tiny studio apartment, but 4 short months later we found the place we're at now.  We weren't even planning on moving but it was cheaper and bigger [and had a washer and drier!] so we took the opportunity to save a little bit of money and moved in.  Even though we only lived in our first apartment for 4 months, I cried when we moved.  I liked that little tiny apartment.  But I like our house now too...Let's start the tour!

Welcome to our house!  Once you walk in, you are inside our kitchen.  When we moved in, there was this crazy old fridge so one of the first things we did was buy a new [to us] fridge.  The other pictures in our kitchen are of my cookbook shelf [with my can of Corina Tomato Sauce] and my wreath frame.  Someday I'd like to paint the walls in our kitchen [but that's not happening anytime soon].

Walk in a little bit further and you'll be in our living room/family room.  Here are a few pictures of our desk and some of the pictures on our walls.  The colorful flat blue bowl  is one of my souvenirs from Jerusalem.  And the tic tac toe board I made in one of my classes last year.  Also the big frames above the TV are the ones I made in Jordan's Grandpa's shop.  I love them!  In between the two frames are two smaller frames with our wedding announcement, announcement envelope, engagement picture, and Thank You card.  Jordan gave them to me for our Anniversary and I love them too.  [P.S. more pictures of our TV later this week, when I finish my TV stand!!]

Next we have our bedroom.  Last Christmas break I made the curtains and one of the yellow pillows and Jordan and I re-did the nightstand...[and the blue dish on top is also from Jerusalem].

And there you have it!  That's our little house.  I hope you enjoyed the tour!

I miss you! Let's talk soon - looks like I'll get to Utah just a couple days after your birthday (!!) on the 15th or 16th and I'll be there through January 5th or so. What days will you be in town? Can't wait to see you!
