Recent photos [from my phone]

10.02.2012
Here is an assorted collection of photos, taken on my phone, from the month of September. It was a good month.

1. Jordan and I went to an end of Summer party at Jordan's work early in September. There were the cutest lemonade, shave ice, and popcorn booths, but the highlight was definitely the inflatable sumo-wrestling (even though Jordan beat me every time).

2. Peaches. Jordan bought a box of peaches from a man at work, and then without knowing, Martha bought a box from her friend. We had peaches up the wazoo. But they were SO delicious. I would eat one everyday for lunch, and sometimes another one when I got home from school. We also made peach pie, and peach ice cream. I wish we still had some.

3. This is the last picture Jordan had taken while he was 25, the night before his birthday.

4. When the Sophomores at my school had to take the PLAN test, I didn't have to be at school until 11:30. So I decided to take full advantage of this and slept in. And it was AH-MAZ-ing.

5. I thought these vines were pretty, so I snapped a picture of them while we were in Salt Lake for Jordan's birthday. Do you like vines? Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. Jordan hates them.

6. I mowed the lawn for the very first time in my whole life, so I snapped a picture to document it. I even tried to be fancy and tried a diagonal line instead of straight up and down. It wasn't a perfect mowing job but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Also, we washed the car right before we mowed, so this picture was really of our Saturday morning jobs.

7. To say that Jordan and I love Red Robin would be an understatement. We go there as often as we can. We recently went because we ordered a gift card with points from our credit card. FREE Red Robin.The. Best.

8. Jordan and I got to go to the BYU football game on Friday and we had a great time. We went to L&L before hand (we just had to, the Cougars were playing Hawaii), and Sub Zero after (we had a Citydeal that was about to expire). It was a wonderful date night.

9. I snapped this picture while we were on Jordan's birthday camping trip. I like the silhouettes of the trees. And I might add that I now know how to spell "silhouettes" because it was one of the assignments I gave out in my Photo class.

  1. Fun! September is usually a pretty random month, being a transition between summer and fall. I, too, have never really mowed a lawn before! I wish Devin's (Cabela's) credit card earned us something other than money for ammo and pontoon boats...
