Oh the Places You'll Go...(18)

I have been thinking that it was about time for another one of these (considering the last time was May 2012). And since it has been a while, they have been piling up a bit! This blog post kicked me into gear!

So here we go! First I'll share a bunch of mine, and then a bunch of yours! And don't forget to check out the updated map at the bottom, tagged by location/ who sent me the picture.

These first few I took in Hawaii, while we were on our little Babymoon. This one is from Anini Beach.

At the Kilauea Light House, Kauai

This is the last one from Hawaii, and probably the coolest one from that trip, at the Glass Beach, in Kauai. Seriously, this entire beach was made out of little pieces of glass!

Then a cute Reagan joined our family! and we took a walk. I love her skinny, little arm.

I took this one while we were hiking the Narrows, at Zion National Park.

This one is from Deer Valley, when we went to watch the Aerials.

My mom was in Chicago a few weeks ago for work and this one is from her, in the glass box at the Willis Tower.

This one is from Amber, of her and her husband longboarding.

Here's another prego belly. This one is from Claire, when she was 20 weeks pregnant with Ava.

This is my first one from North Carolina! From Leah, at Oak Island (I LOVE when I get to add a picture from a new state!)

This one is from my brother-in-law's mission, taken in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, working in the Mission Office.

This one is from another missionary, in Argentina. Thanks Hayden!

These last two are from Eryka. This first one is from City Creek Mall, in Salt Lake....

Morning Playtime


We do a lot of playing around here. Especially in the mornings.

We like blocks, and rings, and the bucket that they belong in.

We play and play and play, until we're too tired to play anymore. Life is good.



Hooray!! All of the papers have been signed, and tomorrow afternoon we get our keys! Keys to our house! We're moving in on Saturday!

After a MISERABLE housing search, where we easily looked at over 150 homes, we have purchased one. And I LOVE IT!

We wanted a house with a two car garage, a bathroom in the master bedroom, and a big yard. Check, check, and CHECK! Can you tell I'm a little bit excited?!

Also, I really like that we closed on our first home exactly 3 1/2 years, to the day, after we got married. Happy half-iversary to us!

I'm so excited for this. I'm excited to be a homeowner. To have our own structure. With no one living above, or below us, and our walls are all our own. AND a garage! What a luxury!

I'm ecstatic, elated, and overjoyed.

Carl's Cafe


Last night as we were going to bed, we realized we were out of both milk and eggs, and that today would probably be a great day for breakfast at Carl's, like we had been wanting to do for months!

^^Jordan got a sausage burrito, with a scone.^^

We ate our delicious food, and then failed at trying to get a family picture... (at least Reagan is cute), until it was time for Jordan to head to work. It was a completely wonderful little breakfast date.

A pretty neat lady is turning 80!


Jordan's Grandma is turning 80 in a few weeks, so this weekend we had a big party! Lots of people drove down from Idaho, some traveled from California and Las Vegas just to help us celebrate. We had great food and good company!

^^There were some beautiful flowers, which was fitting, because as I walked around the party I heard all about the amazing garden Grandma always had.^^

^^These are Jordan's Mom's famous Brownies. This could actually be the real reason people traveled for the party. These things are requested at every family and even neighborhood event.^^

It was fun to meet lots of new family, and see how this amazing woman has touched their lives!
