Summer with Dylan and Logan

8.19.2014
We were lucky and got to spend a bunch of time with Dylan and Logan this summer. They each got to spend a week with us alone, and then a few other times together, and then some more time with my parents in town too! It was wonderful (and I'm totally sad that they are back in school as of yesterday)!

While Dylan was in town we ate lots of yummy food, including (and pictured) Dickeys and Pei Wei. We also went swimming and he helped me (a TON) in getting ready for Reagan's birthday party and taking these pictures. He also just so happened to be in town during our ward's Youth Conference, and since I was already going, he came along too. We did our Youth Conference at Temple Square and couldn't resist a #JesusSelfie (pictured below).

The weekend before the 4th of July, the boys flew over for EFY. We were able to spend a little bit of time with them before we shipped them down to Provo for the week. We got shave ice, played games, went to church, had a delicious fajita Sunday night dinner in the backyard and then I took them down to get settled into their temporary dorm room.

During Logan's week, we were able to leave Reagan with Martha one afternoon and sneak off to the Draper Temple to do some Baptisms for the Dead with family file names. (We spent one morning, during Reagan's nap finding names together). We also went shopping at City Creek, had a very spontaneous stop at WaffleLove when they were RIGHT by our house, and of course we went to the pool.

Logan also came out this last week with my Dad to help us with a few projects around the house. My dad took down one soffit, extended an existing soffit, took down a ceiling fan, put up a new light, put up a ceiling fan, took down a different light, and retextured a popcorn wall in our stairway. It was amazing! I'm so thankful they were able to come help me. And I just have to say that Reagan is totally enamored with Logan. Completely in love. Everything he does is hilarious to her, and she just laughs and smiles at him whenever he is in the room. It's really cute. She's so lucky to have so many uncles who totally love her.
