Saturday Morning Crêpes

I am a hot breakfast person. I don't like cold breakfasts. Summer, winter, doesn't matter. I want a hot breakfast. I usually have an egg sandwich either on a bagel or english muffin every morning (especially while I'm pregnant), and to go along with that, I'll usually make Reagan some scrambled eggs. She loves them. Lately, during the week we haven't been eating breakfast with Jordan (we've been trying to get as much sleep as possible) but during other times in our marriage, we'd have a hot breakfast all together. We love breakfast burritos, or some quick pancakes, sometimes cereal, but mostly egg sandwiches. They are my favorite. Especially with Canandian Bacon.

On Saturdays, I like to make a little bit of a fancier breakfast. Pancakes, waffles, french toast, etc... And enjoy the time together as a family. This morning we made crêpes. Reagan was so excited to help. Jammies, bedhead and all.



^^We got this recipe from my Aunt Pam, and we of course remembered to garnish our crêpes before partaking, an essential step to the recipe. Delicious!

In case you can't read it, I'll share below:

Crêpes (makes about 8)

3 Eggs beaten, then add:
1 1/4 c. Milk
3/4 c. Flour
1T Sugar (Powered or Regular)
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Baking Powder

Cook in pan (sprayed with cooking spray), turn when light brown (and the edges are slightly curling). Butter when hot, sprinkle with powered sugar, fill with fruit and whipped cream (today I was enjoying mine with sour cream, brown sugar, and strawberries). Be sure to garnish the top with a squirt of whipped cream, and a tiny piece of fruit :)
