While we were in Colorado we went to one of our family's favorite restaurants, White Fence Farm. My mom used to be a waitress there before I was born, and in fact, she served their 1 millionth chicken dinner (They have now served over 5 million chicken dinners). We've been going to this restaurant since I was a tiny girl. I really loved bring Reagan here and watching her play just like I did when I was little.
^^She totally hated the goats, and was super scared of them, but she was pretty fond of the chickens.
^^We tried to show her the pretty peacocks, but I don't think she actually saw them. It was one of those situations where you're like, "Look up there!...Up there...No, look up there" and then try to help her look in the right direction by moving her head, and at the end of it all, you're pretty sure she never actually saw what you were trying to help her see. #ToddlerMomProbs.
White Fence Farm is one of my happy places. I just love everything about it, and that I have so many happy memories there. I think for me eating out is just as much about the food, as it is about the memories.
Of course the food at White Fence Farm is amazing. The chicken is super tasty, and then there's the corn fritters. I dream about these things at night. I don't have a picture of them, but imagine a bowl full of warm donuts covered in powdered sugar, and every time the bowl runs out they bring you a new one. Heaven!
My grandma and aunt Shari, uncle Nate, and cousin Jackson joined us for dinner. Reagan wasn't so sure about being buckled in the high chair (like usual) but besides that, we had a great time!
