There are not many things I love more than hot air balloons. When I know there are going to be hot air balloons near me, I need to see them. This weekend was the Ogden Valley Balloon Festival, so Saturday morning we loaded the girls up in the car at 6am and headed to Eden, Utah. I was almost giddy upon arrival. We kept telling Reagan that we were going to see some big balloons, but we could tell she couldn't quite understand. The first time she caught a glimpse of the hot air balloons though, her eyes were glued. "More balloons? More balloons?" I think she liked them (but was very afraid to touch, "No touch"). Here are a few pictures from our morning with the hot air balloons:
P.S. On the website it said to expect cold weather early in the morning, so I bundled up, and the girls were bundled, and we brought blankets... etc. It was hot! I was roasting in my long pants and sweatshirt/coat. I was expecting the frigid temps we experienced at the Albuquerque Balloon Festival, but it was nothing like that.
Also, I'm dying to go back to Albuquerque again. My photography skills have drastically improved and I have better lenses. Also, it was one of the most spectacular experiences I have ever had so I'd love to do it again. Anyone want to go with me?
