Best of 2017

12.31.2017
2017 was a doozy of a year with lots of ups and downs, but as I have been writing this blog post I have realized that most definitely the ups out weighed the downs. Our year was filled with fun times and good memories. Here is what our year looked like at a glance:

My favorite part of January was our weekend at Disneyland. We also went to see Monster Jam and I made a donut pegboard for New Beginnings.

February brought with it Field Trips and a haircut for Reagan. We announced that we were selling our house, we saw Cirque du Soleil, and Jordan and I spent a fun week in England, visiting Manchester, Nottingham, and London.

My blog appeared to disappear in March as we were finishing up projects on our old house in preparation to show and sell it and then of course there was getting ready for the actual move itself: packing, organizing...etc. So the only thing I actually blogged about that happened in March was Disney On Ice, which the girls LOVED! In March we also took a little trip to Colorado for Kara's wedding (and our car broke down on the way!), and Jordan fell through the roof!

We moved out of our 1st home and into our 2nd on April 1st. In April I posted some Before & After pictures of our Layton house. Before we moved into our new house we completely redid the bathroomMy mom had a birthday, we spent a fun weekend at Bryce Canyon, and celebrated Easter.

Naomi turned 2 in May and we celebrated with a Minnie Mouse party. We visited the Tulip Festival, I started a little photography project and Dylan and Logan graduated from High School. Since we had moved into a new ward we had to speak in church.

In June Reagan finished her first year of preschool. Jordan planned the funnest getaway to Escalante where we stayed at an Airstream RV Resort! Reagan turned 4 and we celebrated with a Frozen party complete with a donut cake. We celebrated Father's Day, Jordan rode in the Huntsman 140, I took a trip to San Francisco to visit my roommate Rachel. We decided not to go to grad school in England and Jordan took a new job instead. Before he started his new job we snuck away to the Bahamas on a cruise!

July rolled in and we celebrated the 4th of July, spent a weekend in Colorado with Annett and Jim, went to the Rodeo, and had a fun time Ziplining at Sundance.

In August we went to Alturas for the Sorensen Family Reunion, went to Nebraska to see the Total Eclipse and Jordan took Reagan on a Daddy Daughter Date to Princess Night at the Bee's.

Reagan started a new preschool in September, I went camping with my dad, Jordan went backpacking with his dad and Dylan got his mission call TO MONGOLIA. We also officially bought our house and took a trip to Europe! We visited England (and the Highclere Castle), Paris (and Paris Disneyland), and Switzerland.

October flew by and we celebrated Halloween with Belle and Minnie Mouse and we went on our First annual Dave and Martha Sorensen Family Reunion to Yellowstone. We also got Sorensen family pictures taken.

In November our yard was taken over by millions of leaves, we enjoyed Thanksgiving in Utah with lots of family, I took Dylan's mission pictures, and we had Cox family pictures taken.

We started December with the FUNNEST trip to Disneyland. The girls had their Christmas Ballet Recital, Jordan and I went to the Nutcracker for my birthday, and of course we celebrated Christmas!
